instructional designer facilitated professional workshop This was one of a set of faculty workshops annually delivered by the Instructional Design team at Touro University's Department of Online Education. Specifically, this workshop's aim was to improve faculty’s capacity to effectively communicate with students enrolled in asynchronous online courses by expanding their understanding of and ability to utilize several elements of the Canvas LMS, these elements being:

 -Canvas' Notification System

 -Canvas’ Announcement System
 -Canvas’ Inbox System
 -Canvas’ Gradebook System
 -The SpeedGrader System
 To ensure the workshop both effectively engaged and educated faculty, I designed the experience to alternate between more traditional presentation-style content and realistic, use-case-scenario framed walkthroughs.
